But for that power, our body has to process the food efficiently and completely. The efficiency of our digestive system depends on our digestive health. The modern lifestyle has already ruined a lot of people's digestion capability. The modern pharmaceutical drugs we use makes our digestive system rely on foreign support to complete digestion. To solve this issue, our body should be in the pink of its health.

For cleaning our body and to improve digestion, fasting is followed in many cultures. Since ancient times, fasting is always related to holistic events. In Hindu culture, fasting is followed on a monthly basis in the name of gods, and same case on other religions too. Monks fast on regular basis to obtain higher level of spirituality. Following fasting for medicional purposes are even taking place, doctors pricribe intermediate fasting to detox and clean our body. On a fasting day, only water or just fruits are allowed to be ate. Studies shows that, if everybody takes fasting weekly and regularly, the energy levels will be higher that normal and a lot of health problems we face today will extict. Even avoiding non-vegetarian foods for a day is an entry level of fasting.
