We all are aware of fuses used in circuits, but what about circuit breakers?
 In this article, we are gonna take a look at a circuit breaker. Probably someone with some electrical knowledge will know about circuit breakers, but most of us don't have an idea about that.

What is the purpose of circuit breakers?

Circuit breakers are more likely as fuses but they won't melt during a short circuit. The circuit breaker mechanically disconnects the components of the circuit from the electric source. 

The mechanical barrier between the component and the electrical supply prevents any sort of damage or overheating of the component.

The most commonly used circuit breaker is MCB(miniature circuit breakers). Usually, the circuits are divided into smaller parts and each will get its own MCB to localize the short-circuiting issue.
