changes in airplane travel
Most of us travel in plans. Have you ever heard of the changes in our bodies during plane travel?
We all face many changes in our bodies being in a flight. All these are different for different people. But the most common changes are listed here, be aware of all these, and take your next flight prepared. A flight is a closed environment with very low pressure inside. Due to this our metabolism is affected a lot. Here are few commonly noted changes observe in a flight.
#1 Your leg starts swelling
Have you ever noticed your feet onboard?. They even seem bigger than your sandals may not fit in. This is because of the lack of motion in a plan. The blood circulation slows down in the leg and makes you uncomfortable. To overcome this, stretch your legs often and walk whenever you walk inside the plane.
#2 A change in food taste
This change might sound unfamiliar to many people. A study conducted by doctors shows that there is a change in the brain's decision making part, which may lead to a change in food selection.
#3 Dehydration
This will be commonly noticed in people often in planes. This is due to low pressure and low humid climate around the aircraft. Due to this, some problems may arise. Problems like bad breath, skin problems, dry mouth, and throat may arise. Drinking plenty of water and having a hydrated meal before being on board will help you come out of these problems.
#4 Changes due to the pressure difference
Due to the low pressured atmosphere in the aircraft, our body is affected. The main problems due to the pressure difference are head spin, tooth acne, weaken hearing and so many others. Closing our ears during take-off and landing will help your body to manage the sudden change in pressure and easily adapt to the artificial atmosphere inside the plan.
#5 Metabolic changes in the body
Our metabolism completely changes being onboard. This change starts within 15 minutes of take-off. Due to this, many will feel hunger, thirst, and rarely few may experience the gases evolved inside their stomach.
Have a great day :)
