Koenigsegg Regera is a hybrid hypercar, yes its a hybrid car. but can't be driven fully through electric, it can be possible only during reverse. Mainly there is no gear in Regera. It consists of a 5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine In addition to this there are 3 motors powered by f1 battery. One battery is directly connected to the drive shaft while the other two motors are connected to two rear wheels individually. The power of all the three motors, an engine, and a cutting edge battery are combined by the new powertrain technology and the drivetrain of Regera specifically called KDD (Koenigsegg direct drive). The Regera produces 700Hp and 900Nm of torque separately by electric part alone, And with both electric and ICE, The Rgera produces 1500Hp and 2000Nm torque thus it becomes a beast on road.
Koenigsegg Regera uses 2nd generation air-core superlight carbon fiber wheels which is 40% less in weight compared to the same size alloy wheel and without a traditional gearbox, the Regera becomes lighter and more effective. And another interesting fact is about the indicators, they are in the side mirrors which glitters in the symbol of Koenigsegg. Regera is 2 doored 2 seated with a removable hardtop and the hardtop can be easily placed front hood.
And finally last year the regera set a world record of accelerating from 0kmph to 400kmph and decelerating to 0kmph in just 31.49seconds
